Free written practices · optional 28-day plan
Confidence & everyday connection
Practise introductions, listening, respectful requests and boundaries in everyday situations.
Start with 5 minutes or adapt to your circumstances. No account, card, purchase or recording is required. These practices are general education, not treatment. Stop any activity that feels uncomfortable.
Your daily practice workspace
The 28-day plan is a practice structure, not a promise of transformation in 28 days. Seven activities repeat across four different weekly themes.
For under-18 participation, use the parent/guardian-managed programme. Do not enter a child’s details here. The written activities below remain available to read.
Your seven written practices
Read any activity without using the tracker. Each is revisited over four weeks: begin gently → build a routine → use it in daily life → review and continue.
Activity 1: Say a simple introduction
Practise saying who you are and one interest or skill aloud. Use a real example, not a claim you feel pressured to make. Recording or uploading is not required.
Paper-journal prompt: Which sentence sounds natural to me?
Activity 2: Ask one open question
In an appropriate conversation, ask a question that invites more than a yes or no. Listen without preparing your answer. Respect someone's choice not to respond.
Paper-journal prompt: What did I understand better?
Activity 3: Reflect before advising
Summarise what the other person said and check whether you understood. Ask before offering advice. Use a fictional scenario when practising alone.
Paper-journal prompt: Did I understand before responding?
Activity 4: Make a clear request
Practise a small request using a specific action and a realistic timeframe. Leave room for the other person to say no or suggest an alternative.
Paper-journal prompt: Was my request clear and respectful?
Activity 5: Practise a boundary
Use a low-stakes fictional example to practise saying what you can and cannot do. You do not need to confront an unsafe person or disclose private experiences.
Paper-journal prompt: What wording feels clear without being harsh?
Activity 6: Offer specific appreciation
Notice a real, small contribution by someone you know. Express appreciation without expecting a favour or response. A private note to yourself is also fine.
Paper-journal prompt: What contribution did I notice?
Activity 7: Choose one real-life practice
Pick a comfortable conversation skill to practise next week. Keep the setting low-pressure and consent-based. Connection is not measured by how many people respond.
Paper-journal prompt: What is my next manageable conversation?
