Free written practices · optional 28-day plan
Habits & practical life reset
Build a small routine, organise one everyday task and restart without all-or-nothing pressure.
Start with 5 minutes or adapt to your circumstances. No account, card, purchase or recording is required. These practices are general education, not treatment. Stop any activity that feels uncomfortable.
Your daily practice workspace
The 28-day plan is a practice structure, not a promise of transformation in 28 days. Seven activities repeat across four different weekly themes.
For under-18 participation, use the parent/guardian-managed programme. Do not enter a child’s details here. The written activities below remain available to read.
Your seven written practices
Read any activity without using the tracker. Each is revisited over four weeks: begin gently → build a routine → use it in daily life → review and continue.
Activity 1: Make the habit smaller
Choose an ordinary habit and reduce it to a version you can realistically attempt today. A tiny completed action is enough; do not compensate with an exhausting session.
Paper-journal prompt: What is the smallest useful version?
Activity 2: Choose a reliable cue
Attach the small action to an existing routine, such as finishing breakfast or closing a laptop. Use a cue you control, rather than relying on motivation alone.
Paper-journal prompt: Which cue fits my actual day?
Activity 3: Prepare the environment
Put one useful item where you will need it. Remove one avoidable obstacle. Do not buy equipment or subscriptions just to begin this practice.
Paper-journal prompt: What obstacle can I remove for free?
Activity 4: Organise one life-admin task
Choose a small task such as sorting reminders or checking an appointment. Use your own secure records. Do not enter bank details, identity documents or passwords here.
Paper-journal prompt: What practical task is now clearer?
Activity 5: Plan for an interruption
Imagine a busy day and choose a smaller fallback action or a rest day. Missing a practice does not create a debt or require a penalty.
Paper-journal prompt: What is my kind, realistic fallback?
Activity 6: Notice effort accurately
List what you actually attempted this week, without exaggerating success or dismissing small efforts. Choose one useful action to repeat today.
Paper-journal prompt: What effort deserves acknowledgement?
Activity 7: Review and reset
Keep one routine that fits, change one obstacle and stop one unhelpful rule. Make next week's plan realistic rather than adding more tasks.
Paper-journal prompt: What will I keep, change and stop?
